The March Fly Tour

Day 3 - Bunbury via Pemberton

Saturday, 1st March 2014

We wake up to a lovely sunrise streaming through our ‘bedroom’ window – Perfect! I savour the moment for a few minutes before getting up to make breaky and break camp while dodging the few pesky march flies who are also awake. My legs are cover in bites on top of bites.

We break camp and head into Pemberton on the way when we went from travelling through open bush/farmland where the temperature was 30 deegres to travelling though forrest where the temperture drop 2 degress to 28 in the space of about 500 meters. I have heard that forrest do have this effect but this is the time that I have noticed it.

We stop in Pemberton for a bit of Lunch fill up the Pajero and head towards Big Brooke Dam just north of the town. Then its a quick look at the Hundred Year Forrest on the way from to Bunbury.
We going to spend a day or so with relatives in Bunbury before heading back to Pert.
